He must have been confused by Gretzky's call and assumed he was trying to get him to sign in the city where there's a Gretzky statue in front of the arena.

So many highlights? God the Raptors get horrible coverage on SportsCenter and it beats the hell out of discussing which 4th line center for the Oilers is looking for a bounce back season. There's enough coverage of the NHL on tv to make even a hockey fan go mad.

I bet the Lakers promised Nash something the Raptors would never be able to match: The chance to hang out with the Stanley Cup Champions who share their arena.

Good thing Edmonton doesn't have an NBA team. Nash wouldn't know where to sign.
