I actually feel sorry for Bryn.

He might be a bigger whipping boy than both Stajan and Jbo and to make it worse he's not filthy rich like they both are.

Lets face it, he's just not that great. I haven't called him out for being terrible because I sympathize with the living these guys make but to me he's just background noise. I don't really care for his opinion as I don't believe he knows enough about sports in general.

Stajan and Bouw at least have a modicum of talent at their jobs; Stajan can put up 50 points getting top 6 minutes and PP time on a lottery team, and Bouw can technically play 26 minutes a night.

Bryn sounds like he takes a random comment from CP or HF and passes it off as his own informed opinion. Pat takes four nanoseconds to think about the previous statement like a rational human being, and deconstructs his argument like a boss, displaying EXTREME professionalism by not choking Bryn out in studio.

When he interviews guests, he never brings anything to the table. He asks questions that he thinks he should be asking, but he's not sure why. Every guest he has in about four octaves higher on an intellectual level, and I'm pretty sure I've heard him speak to Doug MacLean.

Memo to the Fan. As much as you are a news source for the Flames/Stamps etc, please remember that part of your job is also to ENTERTAIN US. To quote the d-bag in Gladiator whose scene was left on the cutting room floor, 'WE ARE NOT ENTERTAINED'.

Yes I can. I absolutely can. I could care less about what his opinion was, if he actually bothered to HAVE one. He doesn't. This is demonstrated every time he opens his mouth, and Pat corrects him, and then he blusters his way through the segment as pleasantly as possible while saying nothing of substance whatsoever.

He's not funny. He's not smart. He's not good to listen to. He's not a good interviewer. Near as I can tell, he was a pro scout at some point, but lord knows he finds a way to make that part of his life as dull as possible too.

He is the definition of AM radio hack. Yet somehow because he's reasonably polite and doesn't have a pronounced stutter, he has a broadcasting job. Get it together, 960.

I would love to have Kerr return to his gig with the Fan 960. He is really good at this format. The bonus is having him leave the broadcast booth.

Bryn's improved a lot but he's still nowhere near good. The most frustrating things are his nonsensical segueways and his total lack of insight or opinion which haven't improved any.

Can I make a request of the mods? Could you include a new rule in the guidelines?

12. Thou shalt hate nearly every member of the media and make sure that everybody else knows about it, over and over again.

Please, in some cases the hate isn't justified. In this case it is. Bryn sucks. The guy wasn't even good enough to work in Radio here in Edmonton anymore, so Sportsnet (in true SNet style) went to Giant Tiger and found Bryn in his Oilers sweatpants and payed to have him Greyhound down to Calgary.

I feel bad for Bryn at times. When Steinberg and him are together, Pat seems like a kid who got picked on badly in school and now takes out his frustrations on someone who is able to take it and not dish it back. Sure, Bryn deserves it at times for some of the things he says, but it seems like Pat just finds the smallest thing to start an argument about.

Brynn is absolutely terrible. Seems to know little knowledge of the game. Get this geezer off the air.

I listened on Tues and Wednesday, and I havent noticed much improvement. It seems hes more concerned about his golf game than his day job.
Though I will say Id rather listen to him and Pat than Charles Adler and Angela Kokott. They are the two worst hosts in radio.

I swear Rogers is trolling us Calgarians just for fun. We had Roger Millions doing Flames pbp and people complained. So they go and replace him with Loubo. People complained even more, and they replaced him with Kerr. Now people are complaining even more than the Loubo days. The next logical step is for them to replace Kerr with Bryn. I think CP might explode if that happens.
