Default Automobile Performance Parts in Calgary

I want to buy a CAI and tuner for my '05 Mustang GT like this one on American Muscle: http://www.americanmuscle.com/airaid...er-0509gt.html. With shipping, it comes to about $700. Anybody know of any good deals at local shops?

google suggests there are a few places in calgary - i'd assume that the cheapest place to find such a gadget would be on the net.

have you checked with ford performance to see if ford performance offers a similar product.

Yeah, been trying to make more of an effort to buy local lately. I don't think Ford sells tuners.

I haven't bought performance parts for years (not since I had my '70 Z28), so I don't have a direct answer to your question, but one good place to ask would be www.beyond.ca

Also, I don't know what these guys in Okotoks are like but they seem to be into performance stuff...

I've always had a good experience dealing with Matt from the Mustang Shop.

at the end of the day if the part is availible locally and the cost difference is reasonable, this approach makes the most sense especaially considering you may need some service help or support.

Best place for that kind of thing I've found is up in Red Deer @ Canada Custom Vehicles. As for local... its very slim if any at all (after market retailer/shops).. ZR auto maybe?

Davenport in Calgary might carry them too.

As suspected JB's has lots of aftermarket truck parts, I should have been more clear maybe.
His performance car selection is slim. I had 0 success finding anything for my Gen Coupe. No tuners, no intakes, no exhaust systems.

Okay, got some good pricing from Mopac and The Mustang Shop that comes close enough to American Muscle that I'm going to keep it in Calgary. Also have a message into ZR as I know somebody that works there. Thanks for the help, guys!

JB's certainly has changed, they do cater more to the truck crowd now, not unlike CCV. I bought a Centerforce clutch from JB when they had a store in WEM, I guess I should no longer be excited for their arrival to Calgary. Back in the day, they were one of go to shops for the Mustang

I thought it was strange to suggest ZR Auto for mustang parts. I was under the impression they were exclusive to the exotic/sports car market.

Canada Custom Vehicles is a great place to inquire, it might be worth the trip to Red Deer.
