Mr & Mrs D. ("the owners") were not around much but when they were you sure knew about it!! Mrs. D was a complete bear to work for - she use to send her friends in and spy on the store. One day she accused this guy of stealing $100 out of her purse and there was no way he could have because he did not have keys to the office where the purse was located. She "interviewed" him for hours to the point where he was almost in tears. She had him fired shortly there after!

With regard to Feroz, he was hired just before I was fired. I only worked there for about 3 months in 1993.

You clearly didn't follow "Mr. Scaffeo's 17 Steps" and drop a "I don't know if I could, but if I could".

Bought a demo Clarion head unit from Feroz, but the only way he would sell it to me was if I bought the extended warranty.

Anyone remember Econo Sound? The dude had a bunch of tables set up with all this "legit" audio equipment strewn about everywhere. No prices on anything, had to ask the dude in the suit how much everything was.

Higher Prices? If you were paying anything close to posted prices at Soundsaround, you were doing it wrong. I bought some of my stuff there because I could get it cheap.

I can't stand the warranty pitches from that place, it was the main reason i'd avoid Scroungearound, especially for car audio. A&B was good for condescending warranty sales too.

Off topic but is anyone else annoyed at Memory Express now and their replacement warranties? they used to be the best for customer service but i guess when you expand that much you are going to lose that.

and still can't believe i bought a $5000 tv from Soundsaround. I must have been on drugs.
