Great start by Laffey who is definitely done after 6.

I listen to the game because Ashby is just so much better then Buck but had to turn the tv on to see that replay and just WOW. That is the Jays defensive play of the year so far, he barely has time to look up or set his feet for that throw and just throws a dart to home.

That was a great tag by Mathis too. Davis is playing well for the Jays lately.

All that with 2 outs. Very disappointing.

Batting practice for the Sox in the 8th, no outs yet. Amazing how this game turned around so quickly.

We were just one out away of getting out of the 7th. Can still win the series tomorrow and make it a successful road trip.

And along came Pauly.....oh well one run in Fenway isn't going to win you many games. The pen did cough up the lead...but expecting a 1-0 win in Fenway is on the wrong side of the insanity line.

Really not what the Jays needed with the injuries to the staff, to have him likely not even get out of the 1st inning. Tis tough times right now for Jays fans. At least Lawrie is really coming back into form

It's too bad all of the issues with pitching came right around the time the Jays bats finally started coming around. Oh well. As usual being a Jays fan is filled with frustration.

My suggestion? Just watch the top of the inning or bottom of the inning when the Jays are batting! It is awful timing how the bats really come around and then our entire pitching staff goes down.

Doesn't Romero always get lit up by the Red Sox?

I thought there was some talk that they thought he may be tipping pitches to Red Sox somehow, but it was shot down based on Farrell likely knowing if that were the case.

Yeah I think his career numbers are god awful vs the Red Sox, although he's been pretty bad against all other competition this season too. Thus the value of Morrow.
