Bo Levi Mitchell, confident, good composure made some nice throws....
If Huff doesnt have him starting over Tate I'd be shocked after preseason.
Bo reminded me allot of Jeff GArcia

He made one throw on a wr's back shoulder that you never see in the cfl. Not that common in the nfl either. That throw isn't ability, it's confidence and timing. Very impressed for a first game.

^^^^THE velocity on the thrown balls and the tight spiral and quick release are all impressive ...as well as the accuracy you've mentioned. I think this kid is gonna be something very special.
BO LEVI MITCHELL ....remember the name. I havent cheered for the stamps or been even remotely interested until seeing this guy until now. Its been a long while

Huff not happy with his pass rush? Calgary has signed Kenneth Pettway. Good against the pass rush, not so great against the run.

The pass rush was not very good at all. Maybe hughes will change that. Our sacks we had where coverage sacks, the qb had 0 options we we broke free and got sacks.
We need a heavy pass rush, to create more 2 and outs and turnovers.

No more Burris, no more Reynolds, no more Dales and now no more Rambo? If Nik Lewis is next, I will be very upset! Not that I expect him to ever go.

As that crybaby Madani said on twitter earlier this morning:
Rambo is still hurt, so the #CalStampeders will likely have to 9-game him or come to a cash settlement. End of an era for the #Stamps.
Rambo meeting Dr. today. I'm sure there, he's asking for the same note I asked for to excuse my absences to graduate from high school. #CFL
If the doc deems Rambo "hurt," then Ken-Yon will collect his full salary for the season. He's a vet. He knows the drill. #CFL

Lost amid the excitement of the NHL Draft, the Stamps played their second (and final) preseason game on Friday night in Regina against the Riders. For the second week in a row, a last second field goal gave the Stamps the win, 33-31. http://stampeders.com/article/stamps...ason-at-regina
The Riders have implemented some upgrades to Mosiac Stadium in preparation for hosting the 2013 Grey Cup game, including the replacement of the end zone seating, and a new video replay screen, which comes with a "Saskatchewan-shaped" secondary screen.

That's great and all, but how do you know that throw wasn't a total fluke? I hope you are right and he's the next Garcia or Flutie, but it looks like people are reading way too much in a CFL pre-season game. The Stamps QB situation is in pretty good shape IMO.

Tough day for the Canadian QB in the #CFL: The #CalStampeders have released Brad Sinopoli. -- Arash Madani (@ArashMadani)
Not surprised at all by this. He just wasn't close to as good as BLM and there was no chance of cutting Glenn or Tate

Didn't do anything to stand out, but I didn't think he had played himself off the team. Especially as a first rounder

This makes sense:
" With Ameet Pall getting hurt Friday in the pre-season game, Stamps released him and will rehab him. He will stick around and hope to return -- Ian Busby (@SUNIanBusby)"

I guess Fred Bennett beat him out on the spot. Tisdale was okay last season but not that spectacular. QB Brad Sinopli and OL Tony Washington will be on a practice roster or the Stamps will find a way to hide them away. DL Ameet Pall will be on Disabled List, Surprise about Johnny Dixon being cut though. He is probably injured or something and Stamps will probably put him on IL. Godard beat out Tony Washington as an import lineman but Godard might be at practice roster once Edwin Harrison is back. Rambo on the other hand has been hampered by injuries and the way McDaniel was playing on pre-season, Huff thinks it is time to release him but they are hoping his injury is as bad as they though it is so he'll be on disabled list.
Welcome to the new Calgary Stampeders.
