Are ads on CP screwing up my computer?
When I hover my curser arrow over the topic you get the popup box that indicates what was typed in the OP... however when I do this now..... the popup box starts flashing away.
Also when I click on the back button arrow to see the recent page history, what shows up repeatedly is this...

line after line after line... WTF?

Probably. You should stay away from CP to prevent any further damage to your computer.

To be honest, it probably doesn't matter - I'm pretty sure that ad banner providers are pay-per-click these days (unless you have ridiculous traffic that would support a pay-per-view model). And since most people don't click on ad banners anyway, it really won't matter.

I've never bought anything, ever from an online ad. CP won't change that for me. I love the site, but I'm not going to buy anything they're advertising. Appreciate the comment though.

I don't think allowing ads is too much to ask, heck you might even click on something that interests you. I don't know the specifics of how these banners pay out, but for sure you will never generate any revenue for the site if you block everything.
