Last week the Flames had a press conference stating they were trying to get worse. Not their fault you missed it.

Even if trading #14 turns out to be a good idea in the long run, still SOOOOO anti-climactic and disappointing, regardless of who they take at 21

I love the dots being connected here. Hey, who was on the grassy knoll by the by?

There was plenty of praise from "actual scouts" for Teuvo in the articles. The thing is, he wasn't ranked so high just a few months ago. Teams might follow players with a different perspective. And individual scouts don't get the final say on who gets picked.

his draft order is who he thought was best, not how he expected them to be drafted. then the TSN list was based on opinions of scouts.

Most of our scouts are recent hires.
Our last two drafts:
2011: Bartschi (1st round), Granlund (2nd), Wotherspoon (2nd), Gaudreau (4th), Brossoit (6th)
2010: Reinhart (3rd), Leach (3rd), Ramage (4th), Arnold (4th), Ferland (5th), Holland (7th)
All 11 draft picks have made some decent noise since being picked... except Leach I guess.
