2.45am local time, finishing at daybreak.
What? Daybreak is at 4:30? soccer game is only 1 hours 45 minutes.

This is so strange. There were only 4 hours of soccer each day, only 2 hours on the last 4 days.

I've corresponded with people in China during the tournament. Sure they watch games starting at 2:45 am but they sleep during the day! Or in the late evening like from 8pm to 2am and set their alarms for kickoff.

I totally thought you meant the rapist was Rolando.

Tell me that this man doesnt look like a rapist. He looks like hes thinking about raping you right now.

I think the name 'Bailout Bowl' has officially stuck.

Games like this are hard, realistically Germany should have little trouble against Greece but many teams have said that in the past and wound up regretting it.

ESPN Soccernet ‏@ESPNSoccernet
Germany are to rest Mario Gomez, Lukas Podolski and Thomas Muller against Greece, according to German newspaper Bild. ‪#euro2012‬

It would be a poor plan for most teams, but Germany can roll out Klose, Gotze, and Kroos as replacements due to their embarrassment of riches.

That doesn't make much sense. Those were the three guys who were substituted in the Denmark game.

Unless they are all carrying some injuries.

Interesting resting Gomez and Podolski. Muller has done nothing and I was hoping that he wasn't in the starting lineup anyways.

Klose will hopefully pot a couple

Yet he is one of the more popular players on the team and is well respected. It's very hard to find too many bad words about him from his teammates at this tourney. They all follow him and his lead, and he's carried this team the last two matches.

I fully agree, the guy is a ###### of the highest degree and some of his antics are everything I hate in a player, but he can back it up with his play and has done that. This is a results orientated business and right now, he's bringing Portugal the results. Not too many Portuguese are embarassed by him right now.

You can't be serious. This team wasn't suppose to get out of the group stage. They are in general a young team who have minimal experience on this type of stage. The guys that stood out nobody have ever heard of which is what I like to see. Hopefully it propels us in the future.

The team tried but they are not there yet. But I like what I see and the direction the team is heading. Lets not forget we played the last two games without our clear "#1" best player in Rosicky.

Rosicky is to us Czechs what Ronaldo is to Portugal. And I'm not comparing there talents just saying that is how important he is too our squad.

I am proud of my Czechs. They did great in this tournament. Hopefully they can build on this and qualify for the World Cup as they have a tough group with Denmark and Italy.
