It's not sarcasm. It's Beaver glasses. As in 'leave it to'.
As his photo suggests, he's just a tired old man we tolerate.

My dad would probably beat the flying #### out of me if he caught me doing this. Honestly, sometimes I feel like my generation is naturally ######ed. I look at kids in the hallway during breaks and think "Really? That's the sperm that won?"
I am so glad that I have parents that taught me well enough. You can make fun of people, but this is really crossing the line. And no, I am not the perfect teenager. I'm not some pinhead like Archie Andrews. I'm more of an Eric Forman-type guy. I do greasy stuff, but I don't go around and make senior citizens cry. Pretty sad to see things like this happen.

What part of what I wrote is "Leave It To Beaver" territory? And how exactly would anyone know what my upbringing or childhood was like to be able to make that claim?
You don't think there are generational differences in behavior based on different and evolving cultural differences?

Thank you for proving my point.
You = everyone who is in a child's life.
Sorry, but while the parents are central figures, you can't discount the peripheral influences in a child's life. A child can be an angel in front of their parents, but with other children or with others around teaching different values through subconsciously-learned actions, children can act differently no matter what a parent teaches. Therefore, there is an onus on society to help guide children in all aspects of their lives - home, school and in social settings.
"Let the parents deal with it" is an antiquated, responsibility-absolving attitude.
Also - if you ever go to a country like Japan (and I'm not sure you have), I'm sure you would more than understand what I mean.

It's funny we have basically the same point, but want to argue about it. I can understand how treaties get broken because of the inclusion or exclusion of one word.

Who should take the lead to help curb bullying in schools?
1. Students
2. Teachers/school administration
3. Parents
4. Government legislation
5. A combined effort from the above

I would like to remind everyone that there are still some decent kids out there. Unfortunately for this woman, none of them were riding the bus that day.

And thank you for proving mine...?
But no, it's still not Japan. They do hide a lot. Except for panties. And puppy porn. And a general disdain for women.
It's not a black or white issue.
But we can agree, around the world, just stand up and look out.

I hate that argument, well he has suffered enough because we had a bad phone call. Nope, how about you make actual amends not play the victim. BTW, when I was riding the bus if a student or students tried to pull that crap the driver would have scared them all ****less, or even left us at the side of the road. I know you can't do that stuff now, but damn people behaved on my school bus out of fear.

I think the parenting over the last 20 years had gone too far lenient that there are alot of books and advice out there now that are finally saying that was wrong. So people with kids now realize this and are pulling back the 'champion child' syndrome.
So I think it's one really bad generation. 20 years from now the 20-year olds will be alot more balanced I think.
