So Portugal come into this game heavy favourites and yet again cant hold on to the ball.

So far in the battle of attacking flanks the Czechs are winning.

Portugal is settling into the game now, but they'll need someone other than Ronaldo to do something. The Czechs are closing him down very effectively and the Portuguese arent moving the ball fast enough.

Any thoughts on the impact of that injury? At the very least it hurts Portugal's flexibility later in the match.

If I'm correct, there has only been one penalty kick been given out in the whole tournament so far?

A little, but I actually think its a positive for Portugal. Hugo Almeida is a lot better than Helder Postiga.

Postiga going down was a good thing. Almeida isn't great but he brings more than helder.
Portugal being frustrated in the midfield. Czechs doing a good job limiting space for Nani and Ronaldo.

Lol @ the commentator:
"Ronaldo's friendly chat with Howard Webb in the tunnel before the second half seems to have had the desired effect and now hes getting every call."
We knew this was coming. They're old friends Ronnie and Webb.

Czech's have lost their way.
Can't say I'm surprised since they're playing 4-5-1 with 100 year old Milan Baros being the '1'. Cech is the only reason it's still a game.

Yeah I think they're going for a miracle or penalties now. Or both.

This Czech team is a shadow of their former selves.
In a lifeless game like this, they could really use guys like Nedved, Berger and Poborsky!
