How many people have you slept with?
Be honest.
According to global research statistics, men will sleep with an average of 3 women during their lifetimes. For women, the average is around 1.5.
I'm sure the statistics for North America and other Western countries are probably higher, but Eastern Europe, India, and China pull the worldwide average down.

Three!?? I don't mean to brag but I chalked up three before my 16th birthday. That seems really low.

I haven't had my morning coffee yet, so admittedly I'm not thinking with 100% of my full mental capacity, but how does the math work such that men have twice the average number of lifetime sexual partners as women? Unless there's very widespread male bi- and/or homosexuality, shouldn't the averages be roughly the same for both genders?
Or do those figures refer to the median number of partners, not the average?

I assume since the only way to get this was a survey, that women lie more than men.

There's no way women sleep with 1.5 average in lifetime.
To answer the question, 0 at age 21 (almost 22).

Why do you assume the result is skewed because women lied to reduce their count? Isn't it equally likely that men lied to increase their count?

high teens, would really need to sit and focus to get a solid number.
On a side note, I was in the army with a fella that kept a black book of all his sexual activity, along with contact numbers, what was done, and a little review of the encounter.

Yup, If a guy tells you he slept with 50 girls it's more along the lines of 15..If a girl tells you she's slept with 7 guys is more along the lines of 20.

Isn't there a "rule of 3" or something like that? Or was that just a movie/t.v. show?
