Well, I did some heavy lifting this evening, and got 120 items to Casablanca. I'll probably only get a couple more in before bed. Unless we get a few more CP pilots flying into Africa, we're probably not going to get top 10. Right now we are #20 with 369. #16 has 522.

I am hoping to get leveled up. I have a few small airports in the area but no jobs are falling to Casablanca.

I finally got going on it took me a while to unload some layovers to LAX. Its a 3 day event and really the part seems to be the most important thing.

What's your GC name?

I think it was 15 that got me the Pearjet but it has to be fully upgrade for fuel.

Is it the number of people/items shipped to Casablanca or the number of trips/landings?

Hmm, I think I have over-saturated the NYC-LHR run by having 4 Pearljets on it (2x passenger, 2x cargo). I think I am going to start leaving most red airport pairings with only 2 aircraft, one of each type.

badradio: the Pearljet unlocks at level 14. Aeroeagle at 16, and then a slog until level 20 for the Fogbusters.

I think we are a lock for the part, since we just have to stay in the top 1000. Top 100 gives us an extra 10 bux, and that should be easy too.

I'm buying airports to get myself over to Africa right now. Looks like I'll need to buy Lagos to make it from Recife. I'll be able to better contribute by the end of the day I think.

I'm thinking my set up isn't the greatest for a small airport. I've kinda out a couple class 2s in storage for now and brought out some older planes. I'm really looking forward to the fogbuster!

I am at level 8 and have a lot of NA covered. I have some spread out and then some closer. I have 8 planes right now and 11 airports. I might have spread myself a little to far across NA

I'm all about the Fogbuster, can't wait to get them. Right now I only have 9 of 20 available airports open:

-Honululu
-LAX
-NYC
-LHR
-Casablanca
-Tehran
-Mumbai
-Jakarta
-Sydney

Once the Fogbusters show up I plan to add Buenos Aires, Moscow, and Tokyo to the network.

Is it better to buy mixed planes and parts? Why would I want just cargo or people planes?Wouldn't mixed give me more flexibility?

I have an equal mix of the three. When I find it is out of balance, the next plane I buy I even it out. Keep in mind you generally want to have your planes full to maximize your money. So, a mixed plane isn't very efficient if you have more of either cargo or passengers than the other.

After playing a bit more, I realized that mixed allows you to carry one of each cargo. I was under the impression that it would allow you to carry either two cargo or two people. Makes sense now! Thank you!

Mixed planes aren't bad, and are my top earners, when you get a good hub city up and you fly in a mix of people and cargo a few planes at a time.

Layovers in two main hubs (or more) are what make you the money.
