Johnson's best play is always the pass back.

I have yet to see Johnson complete a pass forward, that is more than 10 yards.

Sweet Carrol 9 would have been perfect for this first half.

England's midfield is just not good enough. They just let the Other team walk it into their final third. It scares me what the possession numbers would look like in a Spain-England game.

Ukraine were definitely the better side but I'm wondering if they'll be able to hold the energy up over 90 minutes

Back Of The Net ‏@BackoftheNetFFT
Gerrard said in the press that England would 'aim to win, not try and hang on for a draw'. We see now what a cunning bluff that was.

Parker nearly handled the ball when he was getting turned inside out.

It might fall off if he hits the ball with his head, the man doesn't want to risk it, he payed good money for it.

I remember when English football was exciting. What happened to that?

Even if England win the tournament... England fans can't be pleased with the way they play. Playing 9 men behind the ball isn't the English way.

I mean it might not be the preferred style for the fas, but an ugly style champ beats a sexy style runner up every day of the week.

Rooney should be out, Carrol in. Hope to hell you get as many free kicks this second half.
