think it's a potentially great signing that also pretty much signals RVP is off
I'm not so sure about that.
RvP was basically the only striker in the fold last year and I can see Poldi being used more of a replacement for Arshavin than RvP. As such, Giroud would be the back-up since Wegner looks to be having a bit of a cull up front (i.e. Bendtner, Chamakh, Park, and Vela).

It's possible but I don't see it
Giroud wouldn't leave the French champions when he is set to push for a starting spot in the French lineup leading up to the world cup to be a backup, he's also entering what should be the prime of his career
With Ox/Walcott/Gervinho they have a lot of attacking options behind the striker, I think those 4 rotate with Podolski also playing Striker
I wouldn't say it's 100% that he goes, just that Wenger seems to planning for him to leave (when he didn't at all for Fabregas)
if the article true (which I would give about a 5% chance) my guess is that it's because Spurs want to wait to talk to Blanc after France's Euro's ends
most likely though it's one side trying to push the other to finish the deal
I wonder if AvB is a good fit for Spurs. He'd be going into a situation where he's replacing a very popular player's manager in Redknapp. It seems that his interpersonal and communication skills are not his strongest attributes. I've heard a few commentators, Hansen, Dixon, express something similar.

media loves harry
whomever they hire is going to have jounos calling for their head instantly
there will still be stories that he is looking to leave
I think he's just a homebody and he may stick around longer than even some Spurs fans think as long as Levy makes good on his promises of pushing forward
he goes home to Wales everytime they get more than 2 days, can't do that from Spain
God I just hope this whiny midget will GTFO. He's a tremendously talented player, but not worth the headache, plus he's had a history of disappearing down the stretch and in important games for club and country. We'll take the 40 M and be better off in the longterm.

He can do it from Manchester though
Good on him to sign though, he seems dedicated, unlike that puke Modric.
