Rathji, if you have half a billion gold, there is a 1244 DPS with 170% crit dmg for sale... LOL. Ranger's Shot it is called.

Yeah, I had some life steal on my barb and when I got to Inferno it became useless, with a quick search I found out about it's efficiency and dumped it all. Didn't realize the life on hit wasn't scaled as well at the time so I went for a high life barb when really a high armor/resistance with life on hit is probably the best way to go for melee barbs, and even then I found the life on hit pales in comparison to revenge.

Now I've got pretty much no knowledge on the other classes but for barbarians passive skills can and do grant LoH bonuses, however, the efficiency depends on the skill. For example, my 657th plan on getting through act 2 was a mad LoH barb with whirlwind because of how many attacks I could get in, only thing was I got about a tenth of the life on hit while using WW compared to other skills. (A quick look just now and I came across this chart: http://i.imgur.com/cHHcG.png, I would assume other classes have similar set ups).

Anyways, D3 is down but just before it went down after some trial and error I made a set up that easily allows for very quickly (under 20 seconds) soloing Inferno Iskatu which I'm pretty stoked about. Not sure he's really a viable farming boss but as the only other extremely easy farming area for my barb solo right now is The Butcher it's definitely a step up.

Also, anyone else getting the "RMAH requires a 3 day waiting period for digitially purchased games" error while trying to access the RMAH? Not a huge deal as I don't plan on buying anything but would have liked to look.

Wow the RMAH must have caused the bnet servers to explode. Isn't this the 2nd down time within the last 24 hours? The RMAH seems like such a risky thing. Not sure why they insist on having it at all.

Frustrating because this was the time I allotted myself today to play D3! All just so they can keep messing around with something I'll probably never use.

Edit: I also like how they refer to it as "scheduled" maintenance lol. Not sure they normally schedule 2 down times in one day. 6 hours advanced notice doesn't help when I only log on about once a day heh.

The projectile fires very slowly, so having 4 shots combined between both shots that are already "in the air" or fire off in the 1 second window after the first shot strikes an ememy is pretty easy. Especially firing 2 shots a second.

I have the 4 property exalted shoulders. But I have the fine exalted (5 property) doomcaster (crossbow), Phantom Bow (bow) and 2 hander staff.

If anyone wants to try their luck let me know we haven't made a good bow or staff yet its random. Its mats plus 94k for the shoulders to make and Mats plus 134k for the others, damn expensive.

Really expensive... The 6 spec ones are only 87k plus mats.. I rolled some sweet shoulders with a guy that I was told to list on the AH at 4-8 mil.

Considering what tears are worth, no way the cost (almost 200k counting materials) a Exalted Fine Phantom bow is worth making unless you are really wanting to play the lottery.

I personally won't be crafting anything until either 1.03 comes out or I save up enough for a Exalted Grand pattern.

yeah the problem is its a double lottery, you have to win the properties lottery as well as the dps lottery and I haven't seen one go over 800dps yet out of the 15 or so we have made.

Ok so i ended up selling stuff and making enough to buy these Shoulder plans on the AH. 6 mil in gold.. but anyway here is why I did it ..

It cost 87k for Blacksmith to make . The materials are like 28 Exquisite Essence , 5 Tears, and 8 tomes. These are about 50k to buy in AH ( +/-) Since I didn't have the plan so I had to pay a fee for someone to make these for me. it was 40k. So I was paying 180k-200 to make these shoulders. Its a gamble but the plan calls for 6 random properties. The 1st ones I had made were pretty solid. Listed them at 8 mil , they didn't sell, so I listed them just under a mil and they sold not even 1 minute after the 5 minute waiting period. I prob should have listed at 2.5- 3mil. I made a few others that sold for a mil+ but I have also made some crappy ones.

Anyway so I sold enough to just buy the plan and cut out the 40k fee... So if anyone wants to try their luck... As a friendly gesture, just get me the materials and ill craft them for you. If you want to pay me some money since I had to spend so much well so be it. The one thing I do ask is if you get a pair that sells... a lil kickback would be nice .

15% Better Magic find.

I think these are over million golf shoulders myself but we will see what happens.

Just a reminder 1.03 is out today.

The big news is the IAS nerf. Looks like it is retroactive and 50%. From http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5869897212#1

As a reminder, we will be nerfing "Increases Attack Speed" (IAS) effects on all items except quivers with the 1.0.3 patch. Please note that this change does affect unidentified items as well, as item affixes and ranges are determined at the time of an item being dropped, and not when identified.

Characters with IAS on their items will see a drop in their character sheet damage, as character sheet damage takes into account attack speed (among other factors).

This change should not be confused with the Legendary buffs coming in a future patch (not 1.0.3), and those buffs, as previously mentioned, will not be retroactive.

For those who haven't seen the rest of the changes, they are available here

I think chests, barrels, vases, pots, and corpses are different from destructible objects like barricades, carts etc.

People were getting into Act 4 Inferno on certain quests and running up and smashing easily available vases etc and getting magic items with no risk. I actually tried it once when someone got me into Act 4, but it was mind numbingly boring so that didn't last long.

Last night I actually had a decent rare drop from one of the "weapon racks" in the old ruins last night, and my MF was only 171%.

I think barrels and vases are exactly what they are targetting here. Everything else I hope stays as it is.
