I wish the plane you were working with was a different color on the map screen. I always forget my starting location when I'm trying to launch a few planes quickly.

It's not as impressive when you find out the top 3 or 5 have been using some kind of glitch to make them get way more shipments than normal. At least that appears to be what people are saying it is.

Either way Top 10 wouldn't be a bad feat if some people are cheating.

FYI: If you click on "Market" in the menu it will tell you how many minutes until new stuff is put in there. "New Items xM"
If you click on an airport then the Jobs button it will show you are the top as well how long til new jobs are available "New Jobs xM"

Another thing that happens is airports can be closed due to weather. Montreal is closed for me for a snow storm. This shows up as the city being in red.

You can check airport conditions in the events menu.

It must be something built in and not random as I also have that. Vancouver has a Thunderstorm but wasn't closed when I checked.
The update gets rid of vibrating the phone whenever a plane lands if you're in the game. Thank goodness.

Go into Menu --> Flight Crew and change your name to "CalgaryPuck" and it will join up in a matter of minutes.
As for planes you need to get money (bux) and just go into the Market and purchase a plan. I recommend waiting so you can get better planes that fit 2-3 people in them. Don't buy or upgrade 1 seaters!

The current global mission ends in a day. It requires us to send people and cargo to help with a chemical spill in Calgary. All cargo to Calgary appears to be first aid, and most people you send to Calgary are doctors or hazmat suit guys.
