In all seriousness even i want to see the Liberals figure it out as having two strong federal parties is by far preferable to having one....and not having the NDP anywhere near the pursestrings. And since almost all the power the dippers have now is from disenfranchised former Lib voters, they really need to get things together.

I don't think we Canadians have much to bragg about when it comes to political ads. We are no better than the Americans (and I'm talking about all Cdn political parties)...

You clearly haven't seen many America attack ads to say that. It's getting worse but for the most part the Canadian ads avoid the angry personal attacks that are prevalent in American ads. So while we may not have much to brag about, we are certainly still better than the Americans in that regard.

I'm going to predict that Justin Trudeau wins this in a land slide.

Marc Garneau, Gerard Kennedy, and Dominic Leblanc are all interesting possibilities. They may not have the name recognition of Trudeau (well, Garneau might), but each of them would be much stronger leaders.
I still have a pipe dream that someone will coax Frank McKenna out of political retirement, but that's looking less and less likely as the years go by.
