What? Now I'm more confused than ever. I thought they gave you a big raise? Why don't you work there anymore?

Yep, the server you quoted was also frustrated because her expectations were not met. If you have expectations for strangers you'll find that they're often not met.

And as pointed out before, if your expectation for service is that every little whim of yours is dealt with by the server, you'll end up frustrated. And you'll certainly end up as a pedantic, snivelling, obsessive control freak, as you've very nicely demonstrated.

This brings CP together. People can disagree on the direction of the Flames, coaching, our GM and ownership, but all of CP comes together as one when Springs1 is here.

You must really not be that good at whatever it is you do then, or not work had enough.

And you're field is Dunkin Donuts right?

Maybe you could apply for a loan & become a franchise owner? Then you'd have 100% control over the serving staff. You could even withhold their pay for any mistakes they make, such as forgetting to read minds.

But clearly you work harder than everyone or 99% of the population anyway. How is it that's it's taken six months to get an interview? I mean, you got a $0.35 raise 15 years ago after only 6 weeks of being employed. I'm sure that's in bold on your resume. I'm utterly baffled at how you're not a CEO by now.

Are your references on your resume bloggers like that Stef person you keep writing about? She seems like a straight shooter with upper management potential sorta like you.

Have you considered a career change? You're obviously the world's foremost expert on what it takes to excel in the service industry, so this could be your true calling! Think of all the great tips you'd make from the millions of customers just like you who are sick and tired of the crap service they always receive at Applebee's and the Olive Garden! You'd be a breath of fresh air to them!

Sounds to me like ***SOMEONE*** has quite the ***SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT***, is LAZY and lacks any sort of ***WORK ETHIC***

If you think tips are related to how hard someone works, and you're having a hard time getting a job, surely someone as hard working and nice as you could make a ton of money serving while you wait to get your dream job.

I really wanna see Springs1 other critiques: Movie reviews, CD reviews, TV shows. I'm guessing they are as good as her restaurant critiques.

No, if I have a job and they want me to start right away, I won't be able to give a 2-week notice and that's not very nice, is it? That won't work.

And they don't have Dunkin Donuts in your new home town? I'm sure your old manager would give you a glowing recommendation based on your raise.
