Isn't arguing about which donut shop you worked at, kinda like arguing if it is better having herpes, instead of venereal warts?

Then WHY did I have BAD SERVICE AT FINE DINING RESTAURANTS, HUH, EXPLAIN THAT ONE FOR ME, HUH SMARTPANTS?

IT IS. Almost $300 for just the 2 of us with the cheapest stake being $89 *IS* fine dining. They didn't offer refills, I asked.

Then why are they complaining on blogs, huh?

You do realize most fine dining restaurants don't offer refils right? Hence why its "fine" dining? If the cheapest steak is $89 dollars, why the hell would they give you pop for free?

They complain because of customers like you but it doesn't matter, they still make at least double what you did and still do. Ironically you clearly didn't have the personality or the "looks" to be a server I guess.....tough....knowing all that work you put in at the donut shop and then some 15 year old kid flirting with customers and the cooks, was and is still making more then you.

Never been to a The Cheesecake Factory to know what it's like. We don't have one around here. Just like we don't have a Red Robin restaurant here either.

I'm guessing you've never actually eaten at an actual fine dining establishment in your life.
[Edit]
And just because they serve $89 steaks doesn't make it fine dining. There are places in Texas that serve 40oz steaks for that price but give it to you for free if you can eat it all. Nobody would ever confuse a restaurant like that for "fine dining".

Look, can you just confirm the current wage for a clerk at Dunkin Donuts already? And you made .32 cents more per shift right?

The last 48 hours at work have been absolutely ridiculous! Yesterday I had a family occupy a table for 4-5 hours (it's a table right by the pool and they were snacking and drinking throughout the day). The man wants to close out his tab. side note: his wife has been drinking double patron, triple sec, and lime juice all day, she almost downed an entire bottle of patron, her three drinks alone were $54. The tab was $144. The family leaves, I go clean up the table, look at the check, and............ $10 tip. A $10 TIP ON A FREAKING $144 CHECK?!?!?! um.... you have got to be kidding me. That's not even 10%. Irate. Absolutely Irate. I crumpled up the check and threw it on the floor as hard as I could. I picked it back up though because I had to close out the check. I swear if I ever find out my family or friends do not tip at least 18% at a restaurant, bar, etc. I will disown you!!! It's a straight up slap in the servers face. Now if the server is terrible then I understand not tipping them 20% (which is the norm in the USA), however, I give 100% at my job and then get pooped on by a-wads with a stupid $10 tip on $144. You can imagine what mood I am now in after this bullhole. But that's not all... oh no. The day gets even better.
|
See, do they always make sooo much money from the cheapskates, huh? ENTITLEMENT A LITTLE I MIGHT ADD SHE HAS.

NO, you do as the customer says BOOM getting your refill pronto, BETTER SERVICE THERE, NOT WORSE, DUHH. I mean if I can get a refill LITERALLY in 30 seconds(we have had this happen before) at a chain restaurant, WHY NOT WHEN YOU ARE PAYING MORE FOR THE FOOD AND MORE FOR THE TIP, HUH? Shouldn't service be *BETTER* as you all claim at the fine dining? It isn't though is my point.

You just said they did not offer refills. Why would you expect them to give you something they don't offer? Do you order whoppers at McDonald's?
