If nothign else I want it for the archived games I can watch in bed on the laptop. Work might be a little more relaxed as if they let me use it I'll be there - if not, I'll be at the pub. (for the england games I mean)

I love how in your edit you accuse me of hating and maintain that my reasons for doing so are because I'm a 'German Scouser' and yet, no, you're not the one being discriminatory.

Its also hilarious that you accuse the German national team of 'not being German' enough for you, and yet, while these players may not have been born in Germany thats where they grew up and learned the game, hence they credit Germany for their playing abilities and represent their nation accordingly.

But you're right, thats also discriminatory. Germany was so wrong not booting these players and considering them unworthy to play for their national team after years of training and development.

They should be expected to conduct blood purity tests to determine who should play for their country? Should they mandate that these players' parents and grandparents are also German?

But I basically agree with you. I find it interesting that there are as many ethnically non-Germanic players playing for Germany. They have historically relied on "imports" for a number of years - Fredi Bobic comes to mind, but there seems to be an over-abundance of non-Germanic players in recent memory.

I dont see it. If anything I feel it going the other way. Surely that ref saw both of his calls on tape at half time and knows that he jobbed the Greeks. I'm half expecting a Greek penalty to put to rest the 'home town discount' rumours.
