I honestly think this is an argument that cannot be won. You are arguing with someone that has dedicated 30% of their life, to arguing about waiter service.
However, I will try some ST TOS logic:
SPrings1, this sentence is a lie.
**awaits auto destruct sequence**

I've complained now and then, but only when it's really validated (ie undercooked meat or completely wrong order, not for extra ranch). But enough about me, this is about you.
So you want all servers to be perfect, yet when you were a server you were not perfect? That is hypocrisy.

I love that to summon the little troll of Springs1, we just need to add to this thread at any time, and it will appear on google as relevant to "Springs1" and she will return.

NO, because when I knew I messed up, I KNEW I EXPECTED NO TIP OR A VERY LOW TIP, UNDERSTAND?
Some people expect a good tip even if they mess up. So NO I am NOT a hypocrite. I didn't expect a tip or a good tip when I messed up like most of this generation of ENTITLED SERVERS.

I don't think any of us want to win this argument. We just want Springs1 to keep wasting her time on this. We can clearly see she's very dedicated to wasting life away on message boards.

Has NOTHING to do with that. You maybe are just lucky or maybe you all don't order modified orders?

Or maybe it's just that my wife and I understand what a reasonable level of service looks like and don't act like we're royalty because we ordered a $20 entree and a soft drink.

You should act like your money is royalty, because EVERYONE that comes in should be treated like you are king or queen if the server expects that GOOD MONEY at the end.

Do you know how many people on this forum are good at their job?
You're not special, you've dedicated a large chunk of your life to something silly and small and to be honest childish.

You were a success at Dunkin Donuts and got a 35 cent wage. The job where somebody who doesn't even speak English could get a raise. It is literally a job for the dumbest 1 percent of the earths population. Maybe if you had of worked harder in High School and College, you'd be making more money now and not bragging about the 35 cent raise you got when you were 20. I blame your parents mostly...

If you're going to modify your order so much, stay the #### at home and cook.
You see all this time you've **WASTED** on the internet debating something pointess?
You could have spent that time learning to cook instead of being a miserable twat.

YES, $20 a shift typically more or less during M-F, working with 2 people during the morning and if I worked the afternoon or night, you worked by yourself in front.
On Sat or Sun be lucky if I came home with $10, cause we worked with 4-6 people on the weekends usually more Sunday for the church crowd.

This argument could go on forever, which is alright with me. And the best part, it doesn't matter who it is, she'll keep it going. I suggest we try to set a record for longest message board argument.

Well, the last job I worked in retail I got promoted from clerk to supervisor(with a raise of course) two weeks in. So obviously based off your logic I'm 3 times as hard a worker is you are, as it took you six weeks to get a raise (and not even a promotion).

You worked at a Donut shop. You did the work of cattle. You got a 35 cents raise. That proves nothing
