I do eat fruit and vegetables. I forgot to include them on my list because I almost don't think of them as food on account of they don't fill me up. Just stuff I put in my mouth because apparently it's good for me.
I went to a doctor and they swiped my throat/tested it and told me I don't have strep. They said its probably nothing to worry about, but I got them to test me for HIV and all the other common STD's anyway.
The results are coming a little too slow for my liking so I decided to turn to CP to find a little peace of mind, which was probably a mistake.

Vitamin D. At least 4000UI a day. If you are starting to feel sick take a few extra 1000's. And wash your hands more often. And get a haircut and a real job.

I had a cold for an extended period, got pissed off and went to the doctor... He told me to try some OTC allergy pills..... I said not possible as Ive never had an allergic reaction to anything before (I'm 42) ..... Anyways I tried some, 2 days later I was feeling much better... Apparently adult onset allergies are very common
Give the pills a try.....

It can't be sarcoidosis. It has to be an auto-immune disease.

This.
Three springs in a row I had similar "issues" (I'm now 47 y/o).
Last spring it got so bad that I finally went in. Respiratory testing, blah, blah...four days later I went into a severe respiratory arrest (i.e. stopped breathing).
Snow mold allergies, adult onset.
I shouldn't even be here typing this.
23 minutes elapsed between the O/L calling 911 and EMS arriving. They intubated me, restored a pulse and induced me into coma (so as to stabilize for transport) in the Ambulance while it sat on the street in front of my house.
At the Sturgeon (St. Albert) , the ER doc told everyone that they should prepare for the worst; the best case would likely be severe brain damage/little to no autonomic function (I was still in the induced coma at the time).
I woke up seven hours later (now in the ICU at the Grey Nuns) and pulled the tubes out of my throat.
I am happy to say that the meds (I'm NOW on) worked just fine this spring.
What a trip.
Also? There were no lights flashing, no "out of body" experiences, no tunnels to the afterlife...none of that jazz.
I fought, (and fought, and fought)...then I went to sleep.
But I beat the odds and woke up...functioning.
Take this as a warning if you're in my age group and feel "crappy" for a month or so every spring. If it's getting progressively worse each year?
Get help.
Now.
You might not be as lucky as I was.

I take 3 x 1000mg of Vit B complex (from Costco) and a minimum of 3 x 1000 a day of Vit C. When I feel something coming I take 10 x 1000 a day for 3 days and I don't get sick. Don't bother with that cold fx crap. It's over priced. Vit A, Vit E and Zinc are good too.

I've been feeling like that too for about the past 2.5 weeks. I get bouts that I'm fine, but wake up stuffy, midly sore/dry throat, tired, head aches, just not feeling normal or great. I wondered about allergies like the Indian dude said, but thought that I'm in my 30's and have never had allergies before.

I've also had a weird stretch of on and off illness the last few months. Same kinda pattern as the O.P. Makes me wonder if something's going around. My parents lately have been exhibiting a similar pattern lately. For me I figured that my stretch was due to moving back to Calgary for the year (first time I had experience Calgary's full winter in 4 years). However, I'm back in Van and I still found a way to get sick... but my roommates have been sick the last month and I just caught it now... doctors won't prescribe anything because there's never an infection.

I never had allergies either untill I turned 32, now I have allergy induced asthma issues every spring for about a month (in fact, it has started this afternoon ). It is accompanied by stuffed sinuses and headaches

Thing is though if I go to the gym, for a run or bike ride I'm generally fine. I'd think the symptoms would be worse or increase when outside?
