I'll get my pool picks in soon, but we should have a pool on when Patrice Evra leads another mutiny.

I'll say: before the end of the group stage.

Lennon injury prone and still not consistent

infinitely better than Downing but Lennon doesn't play for Liverpool so it was an easy choice

You cant possibly be disputing a right back who played 12 times on an 8th place team?

anytime you can take the backup to the 14th best right back in the league it's a move you have to make

I hear that Roy approached Paul Gascoigne in order to have some scoring punch while Rooney is suspended.

I am pretty sure when he approached Gary Neville he didn't have coaching in mind

Shearer was the next striker on the list after Welbeck

No love for Sheringham? Micheal Owen is actually still 'playing.' I'm sure he merited some consideration and he used to play for Liverpool, so he had that going for him too.

Anfield Cat turned him down, wanted guarantees to start like Carrick

Not stupid, we only live once as far as we know and who knows when your country will every make the final stage again.
That being said Holland and Germany always have a great chance every year.

The only thing I wish would be a tad different is that I would have gotten to see the likes of Nedved, Podborsky, and Koller in there prime for the Czechs back in 04. At least I get to see little Mozart (Rozicky) who looks like will be healthy enough to play.

To his credit Lalas sidesteps the question.

What a puff piece though. Another 'Americans know nothing about soccer' thing.

I do like him giving his 'Subway Fresh Take!' though.
