Went through this thread for the first time. This is very cool. If the organization wants to go with a black third jersey, I hope this is the way it's done.
However, we already have three colour schemes for three good looking jerseys; the '89 whites, the '89 reds and the '04 reds. We don't need a fourth basic colour scheme. With minor tweaks those will last us forever.
The rest are either too close to what we've had before to matter, too close to some other team, or not good enough.

Do the Calgary Flames own the rights to the Altlanta Flames logo?
It'd be pretty cool to have the Flaming A as a third (of course the A standing for Alberta)

Answer 1: Yes they do - They use it on some jersey's as the logo for the assistant captain
Answer 2: Could be cool, but I don't think they'd do it...
