Okay so maybe I should have added this to the 'fave bookmarks' thread, but I'll tell you why this deserves a thread of its own and hopefully you will agree.
The site is the creation of a good friend of mine in Edmonton. About a year or so ago he got laid off from his job. He's married, and has a toddler and newborn twins. Naturally a mid-life crisis ensued.
Since jobs in his former field of work are very limited, he considered other alternatives. He has always been a rabid birdwatcher, and decided if he was going to start a new career it should be a labour of love. So he has taken a big risk and set out to operate the best birdwatcher's resource on the net.
So if you like birds or know someone who does, bookmark this site. I'm sure he would also love to get some feedback, since while it has gone through the Beta-testing there may still be some bugs and whatnot.
