You don't play everything in your Steam do you?
I only leave the most demanding games or the ones that I am currently playing on the SSD. The other games that don't need the loading performance are on my mass storage mechanical drive.
They all think that they are in C:\Games\Steam but in reality, only a couple of them are. The rest are actually stored in D:\Symbolic Links\Games\Steam which are done with symbolic links which makes Steam think they are on the C: when they are not.
