I wish Cantona would get his Cosmos coaching off the ground.
He's my fantasy replacement.
Also, here's a great read on Rooney.

last few weeks there has been talk of Giggs taking over, was a story in one of the papers about it
I don't see it unless Fergie stays for 5 more years and Giggs leaves and manages another team at the time

Not so weird, hes 31, mostly used as a substitute and delivered some amazing performances. Its time to get paid.

You'd know nutcases who run clubs into the ground, better than anyone.

who does he expect to sign him....
he's had 1 season in the PL, he's 31 like you say
the money makes sense and I am sure someone will pay him more than Norwich are right now, but it won't be a bigger or better run club than the canaries

I'm not quite sure what to think of the Grant Holt news. He's definitely the heart and soul of the club, but I just can't see him breaking onto a bigger club with more depth.
There's a Friday evening sports show just about to start on BBC Radio Norfolk. This could get interesting.

Two years left on Holt's contract as well, which he just signed last year. Obviously, that was before the Canaries were promoted and before they managed to stay up.
Add in the fact that they opted not to re-sign Zak Whitbread a couple of days ago (one of my favourite defenders). It looks like it will be an eventful off-season...

And... obviously, the ongoing speculation that Paul Lambert might jump ship to a bigger club. Oh man.

Hey, if Van Persie leaves Arsenal maybe they'd throw £30M for him. Hes English, anything could happen.

Anfield is a better bet. He could partner Carroll upfront. What a wonderful £60m price tag that'd be.
They've rejected his transfer request anyway.

does not compute
Wenger won't buy an English player that's older than 18

I believe in the Jays.
I would be hesitating to hand over a huge amount of money for a player this flaky. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him switch teams at least a few times over the course of his career.
