Curious as to when the Lawrie suspension will be announced.... assuming he is suspended.

Wilner said it will be months before Lawrie has to sit.

MLB suspensions don't take effect until after appeals, which the Jays will undoubtedly do.

The same umpires from the Rays series are the umpires for this series. Home plate umpire from last night will be at 3rd. If I were the Jays, I might have Lawrie DH and Omar play 3rd just to get Lawrie and the ump apart.

I'm glad he's appealing. Probably has more to do with the Yankees series, but regardless, not to beat a dead horse, the ump went over the line and I'm glad Brett embarrassed him (as much as himself). On to the series at hand, the Yanks are ripe for the picking and I'm sure the Jays will win this series.

Great win today, bats were hitting real good, Drabek was fantastic. Hope they can carry it into the next few games.

Yeah, good bounce back game for Drabek. Last year when it started going off the rails for him, he couldn't get it back on track. So hopefully this is a sign that he won't let a couple tough starts discourage him too much.

That was a great game for the Jays. Finally seeing some offense is really encouraging, although I know it's only a single game. But like Sylvan said a really good outing from Drabek after two fairly bad ones.

Bautista and Arencibia went deep and the Jays are up 4-1 In the 9th. Even with Bautista's slow start to the year his 10 HR and 22 RBI put him on pace for approx 40/90
