I just don't get what England's problem is with the red jersey? One of the sharpest jerseys out there imo.

Green? No thanks.
The white home is very slick. I still love the black jerseys from the WC. Very cool.

The nicest kits I have seen so far are France and Scotland. The dutch black jersey is pretty nice as well. Thank god the England jersey sucks this time around, I have too many of those as is.

England manager Roy Hodgson will declare his provisional squad for Euro 2012 next Wednesday.
Reports in Wednesday's newspapers suggest that Hodgson will opt to omit Chelsea captain John Terry from his squad.

No more Terry? After his play against Liverpool yesterday they might not be missing much.

I love the greens. Apparently on the collar they are honoring the 1972 team or something like that.
Their white kit is always the best in the world (in my opinion). The greens are fantastic but I hope this is somewhat of a one time deal for them. Keep them special.

Why does Germany wear green?
Quote:
The myth is that the roots of green lie in post-World War II Germany. Many believe Ireland were the first team willing to play against Germany after the war ended, and so the Germans remembered the gesture by donning Ireland’s traditional green kits...
|
WikiAnswers suggests that the white/black home kit and the green/white kit were based on the colors of the two largest kingdoms that were unified under Bismarck, Prussia and Hanover/Saxony: Link
I don't know which, if either, is true. I just know I like it.

Big surprise here.
Sir Alex Ferguson doubts Ferdinand England fitness
Sir Alex Ferguson is unsure whether Rio Ferdinand can cope with playing in all of England's matches at Euro 2012.
The Manchester United boss fears the 33-year-old's long-standing lower back problem would leave him unable to deal with the tough match schedule.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18044588
Wonder if he goes? This could solve the Terry-Ferdinand issue.

This would be a huge blow.
Quote:
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has suggested Scott Parker's inclusion in the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2012 tournament may be in doubt due to an Achilles injury.
"He's had a problem with his Achilles, I hope it's not going to get worse," said Redknapp. "It isn't getting any better. It's a long-term concern.

Those who prefer the icy touch of tinfoil on their skin might suggest that this is a big Redknapp eff-you to not being asked to manage England......

he may be the biggest loss the team could have besides Rooney, he's pretty much the only quality England CM who can play that role, every other position has a backup who's at least close

Do they do numbering? I picked up a Holland jersey when I was in Amsterdam, and I am still debating on getting it numbered. Also have 2 blank England jerseys that could use some numbers.

I just ordered an Italy jersey online with authentic numbering. It was goddamn expensive. Looks pretty deadly though.
I think it was Kicks I went to during the WC 2010 and they said they do the lettering themselves but I wasn't convinced it would be the authentic letters and numbers and I have enough blank jerseys so I went online.

My predicted roster for Portugal: I wish Bento would stop being an arrogant prick and realize they are a better squad with Carvalho, but I don't see that happening.
GK-Patricio, Eduardo, Mika
DEF-Coentrao, Bruno Alves, Pepe, Joao Perreira, Rolando, Nelson, Ricardo Costa
MID-Mereiles, Mountinho, Veloso, Carlos Martins, Manuel Fernandes, Quaresma, Eliseu, Ruben Micael
FWD-Ronaldo, Nani, Almeida, Postiga, Nelson Oliveira
