You're right, Avengers was better!

I didn't see the trailers. Otherwise i wouldn't have gone and wasted my time. I guess i'm just bitter it took me an extra 3 hours to watch game of thrones last nite.

Ok all you Avengers lovers out there, put your money where your mouth is and bid on my Avengers auction! hehe

^ Do you really need more money if you're able to buy $230 shoes off of ebay?

I was assuming those were your auctions on ebay, and whoever is running those auctions recently made the purchase of said shoes.

Saw it for the second time last night, in 3D and was impressed. The 3D was really good, imo, and although not nesessary it did add a bit to the show. I was impressed how many scenes used it.

This is the best comic book movie to date, hands down. It had color, flash, humour, action, everything the comics of my youth were about.

TDK was great in that it almost made a serious oscar contender out of a comic book hero, but comics aren't supposed to be real, and the serious treatment is great for the mature audience but there wouldn't be a mature audience if comics didn't hook the kids with the creativity that Marvel did back in the day.

DC universe was always so dark and gloomy, and it helps give some balance to the comic book world, but Marvel is just so much more fun.

Saw both the Spiderman and Batman trailers at the Avengers and they will both be killer movies.

Batman is ruined for me a soon as he opens his mouth. Who possibly thought that ridiculous voice would be a good thing? Worst character decision in a popular movie since Jar Jar Binks.

I don't think that you can ever say that Avengers was better or the TDK was better. They were entirely different types of movies.

The Avenger's to me was pretty light hearted, went for the quip or the wink or the inside joke. They had great physical comedy, but frankly I never really felt like the Avengers were in danger.

With TDK, it was a serious business movie, very smart with one of the most menacing villians that I've ever seen. you honestly felt like the hero could lose, would lose and even if he won it would be a failure. It was outstanding in its own sense but it was a near pure detective movie with a cape.

Effects wise Avengers kills it because it needed a billion effects. TDK well it could be argued that it was almost spartan and you didn't notice the effects and go woah dude flying pig because they blended into the background so well.

What an awesome movie, very entertaining.

Scarlett Johansson.

The humorous parts, especially the ones involving the Hulk had me laughing more than I'd laughed in a theater in a looong time.

Scarlett Johansson.

I don't leave a theater overwhelmingly happy very often, but this movie was quite enjoyable.

Scarlett Johansson.

Oh yeah, Scarlett Johansson is so bloody hot it's sickening. That Cobie Smulders is quite 'smulder'ing, herself.

Scarlett Johansson, Scarlett Johansson, Scarlett Johansson!!!

What a great flick. Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie in the theatre so much that I immediately thought about going to see it again. Just a non-stop ride.

There was applause at the end of the showing was in. I was kind of surprised I can't remember another film that happened in except for maybe Fellowship of the Ring?

Disney's boss confirmed there will be an Avengers 2 film sometime after Iron Man 3 (2013), Thor (2013), and Cap. 2 (2014).

With the huge record breaking weekend it was pretty obvious they were going to, but still a confirmation is always good.

There will be a second movie in 2014, so it would either be the Avengers sequel, maybe a new Hulk movie, or the Edgar Wright directed Ant-Man movie.

That's pretty cool when that happens...I've only been at one movie where that has happened, it was the Independence Day opening . Everyone cheered when
Will Smith punched the alien after the hatch opened on the crashed ship and it was hissing at him. Then an applause at the end as well...other than that experience, The Avengers crowd was the loudest audience I've been to in a theater.

Can't really add much more than what's already been said, an awesomely fun movie which exceeded my expectations. I'm thinking of going again and I can't even remember the last time I've seen a movie twice in a theater (not counting re-releases) .

How would this rank along with "Watchmen"?

That's asking a preference, though.

For me, personally? I prefer the Avengers. I'm not a fan of "dark and gritty". I can easily see folks going the other way, too.

Considering Watchmen wasn't that good, really high. 30 minutes of Watchmen was good, 2 hours and 20 minutes of The Avengers was good. Their tones are so different though, Avengers is going for a fun action movie, Watchmen is going for a serious, society sucks theme.

Saw The Avengers tonight, entertaining enough but not as great as the hype would suggest. I'd give it a solid 7/10.

Honestly I didn't enjoy it as much as Iron Man or X-Men: First Class, but that's just my opinion.

Worth seeing perhaps, but far from a 'must see' in my books.
