Flames fan960 -Boomer/Wlker argument this AM

Was anyone else listening to the Fan this AM. Boomer and Walker had quite the argument. I have never heard anything like it but only started listening to talk radio.

What do you think, do these two just not like each other, or was this just "constructive debate".

I think the chemistry between the two is not the best. I think todays performance on the air will result on one of them being moved.

Boomer is like that kid at school that is constantly taking verbal jabs at others. He probably sees it as affectionate and good fun, but the targets eventually get fed-up.

Yeah I caught that on the drive into work this morning. It was somewhat entertaining at first but got to be too much and I had to change the channel until they ran out of steam, which ultimately isn't the reaction the station is looking for from their listeners. I generally find Boomer pretty entertaining but he moved into obnoxious territory this morning.

Yah, why listen these guys when you can listen to Forbes, or Don and Joanne.

When they were talking about the bias against Russians? I heard that. I woke up to it, hit the snooze button, and when my radio went back on they were still yapping about it.

That boomer guy is an annoying buffoon. I don't even know why I keep it on sports radio, most of the personalities are irritating loudmouths. I should've changed stations now that the Flames season is over.

I am honestly surprised that somebody didn't start a "Lets talk about Boomer and Walker" thread in "Fire on Ice".

That's debatable. I could listen to Richards during non-hockey season, but now Fan960 is a bit irrevelant when the Flames aren't playing.

Boomer can definitely be a bit, what's the word, stubborn? Overwhelming? Pigheaded?

When he gets on a topic and gets angry he just doesn't stop and really takes over the conversation. Definitely heard him pretty much yelling at Walker a few times and interrupting him and not letting him continue until he addresses Boomer's point.

It can be a bit much sometimes. That being said I did not hear that this morning.

Coles note version (please correct me if I am wrong):
Walker was "coming to the defense" of all Russians who were tainted by the benchings in Nashville.
Boomer went off on Walker over: making his own opinions rather then repeating blogs, questioned his sources etc. says "he always does this".

Did I miss anything? has this happend before?

The arguement went on for almost 30 minutes.

I think we can all agree that listening to Boomer and Walker fight is still better then listening to Bryn. He is just awful.

Because he's overbearing, obnoxious, and incredibly unfunny.

Personally I think Boomer is funnier than Richards.

I liked Mike Richards when he started but his shtick wore pretty thin by the end.
