I can't take credit for this one, someone in the Facebook group found it!

Yes, you need to click on SPECIAL FLIGHT OFFERS after searching. It's a little tricky. Still showing as of right now.

Worked when I just tried it. If only I hadn't just come back from Europe...what a bargain!

Selling airfare for two to Chicago for the May long weekend. Bought it during the Westjet sale a few weeks back but we can no longer go Cost is $658.05 ($330 per person!) -- I'll eat the transfer fees.

Don't think you're allowed to transfer a flight to someone else.

This was in the "Fare Rules":

NAME CHANGES ARE ONLY PERMITTED FOR A FEE WHEN ALL FLIGHT SEGMENTS WITHIN THE BOOKING ARE WESTJET OPERATED AND WESTJET MARKETED. NAME CHANGES ARE NO PERMITTED ON CODE SHARE OR INTERLINE BOOKINGS.

I would still need to confirm the lap infant won't screw things up; also, I'm assuming the fee is only $50 (the cost if you make any changes after 24 horus of purchase) but I would need to confirm that as well.

However, if anyone has any experience with this and can share please do so

New record for Calgary to Chicago - $278 roundtrip after taxes

For those who might have missed the crazy prices to Chicago back in early April, Westjet is at it again, only ever so slightly cheaper this time...

http://www.westjet.com

Look for the June flights that are $79 each way before taxes.

And I believe this sets a new record for the cheapest I've ever seen flights to Chicago.

GOOD GOD WHY
I cant believe how much Chicago flights have gone down, I started out thinking 480 after taxes was good, then priced down to like 280 and now this... unreal!

Looks like it's a good old fashioned fare war. United/Delta have dropped their prices to match Westjet.

Tickets to that series might cost more than your flights

Same for me. This deal was too good to pass up as I've been wanting to see Chicago for awhile.

If you're looking for hotels for that weekend as you have probably seen they are quite expensive. I tried Priceline and Hotwire but there was nothing to be had. I ended up booking on Travelocity's "Top Secret Hotels" which is similar to Priceline and got the 4* Millenium Knickerbocker off the Magnificent Mile for $123 per night + tax. Saved almost $200 over the normal rate.

I ended up doing the Palmer House Hilton by Grant Park for $159 + tax. Not cheap but it's a good central location. Now I just have to figure out how to get to Wrigley from there (and what time the Sunday game is going to end up being - currently TBD).

I think Wrigley is at the Addison stop on the Red Line. Subway system is pretty good there. And I think it'll be on Sunday Night Baseball as all the other games that day have set times already and none of them are at night. That would put it at 7:30 CST I think.
