I think Ramos just killed a bird.

The Germans in a penalty shootout. Never in doubt.

We are reminded, yet again, that the Germans have no soul.

Wow. Two great Semi's.

I am happy that both Spanish teams are out but now Chelsea has a chance to win so I am not that happy about that.

what a finish to this game. Bayern win on the lottery. Ramos either killed a bird or knocked someone out with his shot. Casillas did what he could to keep Real in it. Mourinho made a mistake IMO putting Ronaldo in to kick a penalty when he looked tired and was making simple mistakes throughout the extra time.
What a boring final with so many players on both sides who'll miss the final, Robben & Drogba can at least have a dive off. UEFA need to adopt FIFA's amnesty rule where no suspensions are carried into the final. You want the best teams with the best players competing in the big game. Mistake from UEFA in that regard.

I really should have went to some online betting site and placed a bet that Ronaldo would miss his PK.

It seems to happen all the time in CL, the teams star that doesn't seem to miss will miss an important penalty.

I agree. UEFA should do what the World Cup does. Wipe out yellow cards after the Quarterfinals.

However if there's no risk of missing the final, the semifinal would be pretty crude with countless fouls and yellows.

I am concerned about their ability to close out big games but they showed a lot of resilience tonight.

I know it's easier for FIFA to do that since their semi final is only one game. UEFA should look at that idea though. Way too many talented players will miss this final. Perhaps they could look at making it so that only players on reds miss the final.

I wasn't able to watch the game (too busy hanging out with Keon Raymond) but I was checking the score every chance I could get. Once I saw it go to penalties I knew the good guys would win. Germans do not lose on penalties! I look forward to watching the match later!

Bayern! ! ! Yeah baby!
