Still some very close races out there.

I never thought I'd be so happy to see the PC's win an Alberta election. The WRP has only themselves to blame. Then again, at the end of the day, one of the analysts on the global election night coverage had it right. Shine a light on them and let their own views sink them. They can hide their extreme right agendas for so long.

WRP down to two seats in Calgary now (although, as noted, still some very close races.)

It's pretty disgusting to see.

I thought Albertans were smarter than this.

I guess being a Nanny State isn't so bad.

Albertans and Calgarians talk the talk, but don't walk the walk.

And do some house cleaning of the whack jobs. Pretty much what the Reform/Alliance had to do.

It was obvious from their platform they don't have the experience to run a government. They were just promising everything they could. And yeah, people like that, if they aren't very informed.

I'm not a real PC supporter, but I'm glad the party that doesn't believe in science isn't going to be leading this province.

I wonder how much the Lougheed endorsement helped in rural areas. This is incredible. If Danielle doesn`t make it is the Wildrose DOA?

Alison Redford is the first elected female Premier in Alberta's history.

That's not good for this province. We need a strong opposition to keep the PC's in line and looks like that won't happen. So much for the 30% MLA pay reduction.
