I've heard of scrutineers being turned away because their clothes are too close to party colors.
I'd assume you wouldn't be wearing Wildrose colors anyways for fear of getting confused as a Canuck fan

Because while balanced budgets are an excellent thing, making balancing the budget law handcuffs future governments. During times of recession, it is important for the government to encourage growth through spending, and sometimes this leads to year or two of deficit spending.

I wonder just how scary she really is? Like 'Nightmare on Elm Street' scary, or just 'Paranormal Activity' scary?

It depends on the type of spending.

Personally none of the candidates in any of the party really addressed via thier platform that we spend far more then other provinces on a per person ration, yet our services returns are a disaster.

Worse. She's probably all hot to trot while you're dating. But once you get that ring on her she's all Ben and Jerry's and planting herself on the couch watching the Young and the Restless as she let's herself go.

Clearly the marriage metaphor refers to the election.

A WR and we can kiss the recovery good bye (or a big part of it), in my opinion. Municipalites would be severly harmed. Because they're not ready to govern, in my opinion. Need more reasons?

Danielle's scary in that "she's hot, so hopefully she doesn't want just my money" kinda way.

I'm a municipal elected official and I have a dislike for party politics so will never run at those levels.

I hate that you generally have to toe the party line, regardless of your personal beliefs and philosophies. I hate that a lot of people generally vote for the party regardless of the worth of the local candidate. I hate that you can be an idiot and get elected because you're wearing the right colours. I also hate that you can be brilliant and have the makings of a great leader and stand no chance because you're wearing the wrong colours.

I hate how elected officials and parties sometimes have to negotiate to a position that is outside of their views for political reasons. I hate how elected officials at the provincial and federal levels tend to lose touch with the masses. I hate that the temptation exists and so many federal and provincial officials succumb and become arrogant, get a sense of entitlement, lose perspective and sacrifice their values and stop doing what is right.

I hate that sometimes I have to choose between loving my elected official and disliking the party or having to make other sacrifices because of the system.

I could go on and on about why I dislike provincial and federal politics, but I think you get the point.
