I dunno. If some kids can do a crappy ad for $3,000, surely the Liberals can do a little better for only a little more. We are in the YouTube/Social media generation afterall.
Also, a couple late polls, showing wildly different stories. (from 308)
Angus Reid has it 41-32 Wildrose, taken April 20-21: http://www.angus-reid.com/polls/4452...erta-election/
Forum Research, however, has it 38-36 in a poll taken today, and a huge change from yesterday: http://threehundredeight.blogspot.ca...ast-hours.html

Man, I don't know who to vote for. For the first time in my voting life, I am undecided going into election day.

One of the few reasons I'd like to see a PC win tomorrow is the meltdowns we'd see from Ezra Levant, Charles Adler and Lorne Gunter.

I believe that this is going to be much closer than what most polls/blogs etc. have been showing. I see a minority government either way.

The final poll of the campaign was performed today by Forum Research. It shows significant movement towards the PC party.
A statistical dead heat heading into election day.

Why I wont vote wild rose
Sorry Have not read all the posts here but had to post this
I've had at LEAST 10 calls from the wild rose. Even after calling their office at least a half dozen time to be removed.
on the 5th time I called their head office number (i think the one posted in this thread) and informed them if I got another call I would file a police report for harassment. This still did not stop them as the candidates office (Paul Hinman) called me twice the next week. I filed a police report and called them with the police report number. This still has not stopped them. How can I expect a party that wont respect my basic request not to call me expect to respect my wishes when it comes to running this province.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see some pullback of the WR vote but I don't think it's as big as Forum says. So far weekend polls haven't been the most accurate.

I think province wide polls tell us little to nothing. The Wildrose could be winning by 30+ points in some areas and winning by 2 in others. City polls are better, but not by much. Getting real riding by riding info would obviously be the best option.

You're not alone in that, but the problem is, it isn't Wildrose making the calls. Some of their opponents have begun a harassment campaign trying to get precisely the reaction you had here.

Caller ID's are regularly spoofed. Ask yourself, if they wanted you to vote for them would they go out of their way to piss you off?

I got a call Friday night from a number that showed up as "Unknown" on my call display. It was not a robocall but a live person. He addressed me by name and identified himself as calling on behalf of Mike Blanchard, Wildrose candidate in Calgary-Buffalo (my riding). He then asked if Mr. Blanchard could count on my support. I politely replied that I do not share my voting intentions with anyone and said goodbye. The "unknown" number called me again three times yesterday, but I ignored it each time. Not sure if it was the same caller or not.
I've also received multiple calls from (587) 352-5440 and (780) 414-1974, but I didn't answer, so I don't know if they were robocalls or a live person, nor do I know if it was one of the parties or an independent polling company calling.
[Edit]
Got some of the numbers wrong when I looked at my call history. Fixed now.

Here’s my view –
I believe competition is the key to improvement.
I believe that the Wildrose Party is a good competitor, and has made a significantly positive impact on this election and ultimately, on our province. They are shining a light on a number of issues that need review and action. I have friends in the party too.
I am appalled at some of the comments attributed to Wildrose members with respect to the LGBT community, prolife/prochoice issues, and issues of race.
I believe the best idea should win.
I believe politics needs more people to behave with “class”.
I believe Alberta has had it pretty good for the last 41 years.
I believe change is necessary and good.
I believe drastic change in a stable, positive environment is almost always counterproductive.
I believe much of the groundswell of support behind the Wildrose is due to the intermittent past arrogance and at times, sub-standard leadership of the PC party. Interestingly, the PC 41 years at the helm is likely the biggest reason for the support Wildrose is enjoying. Sometimes people want change for the sake of change. This is rarely good.
I believe the Wildrose need some proven experience.
I believe Redford is different enough to be given a chance to govern. Through this time period, the Wildrose can actually gain some experience, form a credible opposition and prepare for the next election with a track record versus what most of us have - a laundry list of complaints and things we say we can do better. Almost anyone can be an “arm chair” quarterback. I’d like to see my “starting quarterback” for the next few years in some real games before I sign her to a long term contract.
I believe we are better for the Wildrose being in the race.
I am voting PC this time.
Get informed and get out and vote.

Nobody else did it until today when I got robocalls from WR, PC and Lib. But I already voted so they were wasting their time.

Today alone I got a call from WR two from the PC's one from the Libs.
Overall, I think that over the course of the campaign I've gotten far more automated calls from the PC's.
I received only one call from the Liberals' through the whole campaign and one from the NDP. I also got one from the ATF.
