ha - you're probably right.... the desk was given to me probably 12-13 years ago.... my sister was working at a place and they were totally upgrading their office furniture and the deal was if you come and get it, it's yours.

i scored the desk, the thing beside the desk that holds my printers, scanner, fax, etc and 2 or 3 bookcases!!!

free and in really good shape... you can't go wrong!!!

i've already told my dad that this year's summer project is that i want to build myself a desk... should be a lot of fun!

Can't show mine... Solicitor-Client Privilege.

(Also it's really messy... even messier than Vlad's, my piles of files go in all directions...)

Sorry for the wash out. Piece of crap camera phone.
Not a fan, they are a pain in the ass since everything just works better widescreen, and looks much much better.

Before we got the stands delivered I had to get the key stuff we monitor up with the place I had, so I had to turn them, I still die a little inside when I see this picture and remember the pain in the butt it was to setup.

Wow. We had one of those exact desks about 15-20 years ago. Blast from the past.

Aaaaah... Velbon Sherpa 200R tripod I see. Solid tripod. Robust all metal construction, and a machined aluminum pivot head with fluid motion and quick release. Can't beat that tripod for the price. I love mine.

My folks bought it when they first got married from Alberta Oak Shope or Alberta Wood Products (or something,) and my grandpa stained it for them. My mom said she always hated the piece; I left a few subtle hints that I loved it and one day she called me and said, "the roll top desk is empty."

It has served me well for about two and a half years.

I'm glad you don't hide your comics in polypropylene bags in a cardboard box in an attic somewhere.
