I thought the Canucks said they were going to stop this garbage this time around.

Sure they both got hit in the face on the play but the previous poster was commenting on how they reacted. Richards took a stick to the face so he reacts and puts his hand to his mouth. Kesler gets an elbow to the face and puts his hand to his face and then rolls and makes sure both legs are completely vertical. There was no need to roll.

The best part of this thread is that thousands of people, including many members of the media will have seen all these videos and images by the time the Canucks are eliminated.

CP is probably a HUGE reason everyone in Canada outside of BC hates the Canucks.

Keep up the good fight.

This is actually hilarious.

"We know we've dived our way to victory for 82 games, but once the playoffs start we promise to stop our pathetic diving and start playing hockey with integrity....."

The know they do it, they've admitted to doing it, they've even promised to stop doing it. They're addicts, they need rehab. The Kings are just graciously providing an intervention.

It's like what I said before.

Guys like Kesler and Burrows are always looking for an edge, a short cut, some leverage. In this pre-occupation in making sure they get their share, their focus isn't on winning. It's not about fighting through checks to get a scoring opportunity, it's about falling down to get the call.

That attitude hurts a team. Kings players are getting to loose pucks because of the will to fight through the obstacles.

The other glaring aspect is just how terrible their defense and forward support have looked. LA is forcing the issue on Vancouver's d, and they have no options. They look like Calgary.

The Canucks themselves are a huge reason why the rest of Canada hates them...we just seem to enjoy hating them more.
