Hammel has thrown 56 pitches through 3 innings. Chance for the Jays to make this a short outing for him. Great job by Alvarez to get 3 straight there. His stuff is electric

The Jays had a good chance to knock him out in the second inning. He's looking like he might at least go 5 now. Alvarez will likely face a fate like his last outing, out after 6 innings with a 1 run lead.

Lawrie still not hitting balls hard, but getting on base none the less. 3-2 OriLOLes

Don't mind the aggressive base running as Lawrie gets caught trying to steal 2nd. Just unfortunate it will be JPA leading off instead of Escobar

Jays have given up 51 hits this season, 10 of them are Homeruns. Beautiful mess of a team right now, those numbers are going to go down soon and we will see the bats continue to pick up.

The bats are completely silent again so far today. We should have been all over Hammel early in this game when he was struggling, but we let him off the hook.

The bats have been good today, just been missing that timely hit with runners on. Still, this offense is improving. Reasons to be optimistic moving forward.

Tie game!

Not a bad start at all for Alvarez who goes 7 and only allows 3 runs, even when he didn't have his usual strong control. C'mon Insurance runs!
