hmmm, Redford is going to lose points with her facial expressions- she looks pissed off all the time.

Raj is getting some good shots in but he really should quit focusing on wanting to raise taxes.

Smith seems a little nervous but doing well, looking at her notes a bit too much, biggest night of her life so far.

Redford seems to be treading water, getting smacked from every direction. She doesn't seem fazed much though.

But he does want to raise taxes, that's the platform he thinks can beat these two.

I will say Redford has a great game face. Cannot get a read. And here's the conscience right issue of course...

Also, Redford is obviously making a point of saying Progressive Conservatives, almost emphasizing the word progressive.

I'm watching the debate and my non-interested wife walks in and asks, "Who's the gay guy with the pinky ring and earring?"

Sigh.

Putting content aside, Smith is a better public speaker than Redford imo. Im not a big fan of the negative undertone in Redford's voice- which I admit must be difficult to get away from when you're always on the defensive.

They all seem kinda nervous, many many speaking errors tonight so far (moderators and questioners included). Also Smith is a former TV host so I'd expect her to be a good public speaker, which she clearly is.

I'm glad it's not in front of an audience. Can't stand the applause with the US debates.

Anyone catch Redford's freaky eye thing when Raj was grilling her about the committee?

Looked like she was going to explode. It went on for like 10-15 seconds. I'd love to see a gif of that.

I agree but it's really not a winning strategy, he should focus more on his other policies where he is doing pretty well tonight.

Danielle putting Redford on the spot and Redford responds pretty well. This debate has been more exciting than anticipated.

Who cares about reducing the bloody MLA pay???? Honestly, we're talking about a billion dollar economy and these clowns are arguing about small change...

I haven't seen Redord do too much but defend... Poorly. When Raj was hitting her on the MLA raise she looked like she was going to blow a gasket.

She tried to sneak in a Dani-dollars comment there on education, but it fell pretty flat.

Raj is winning to me so far. Mason seems to not even be there.

Raj definitely has the best zingers and is scoring some decent points against Redord. Smith isn't losing, which is all she has to do tonight.
