BSD, I remember when there were no wrist bands and any and all could go. Been some interesting times. Spirit of the West in the Oval, Headstones on the grass infront of Mac Hall.

Good times, but then again that was the early 90's.

I didn't even go to U of C but had a fun time being completely hammered by 8:30 in the morning, receiving an open liquor ticket by 10:00 while on my way to grab some food so I could stay drinking, making out with a chick in her room by noon and growing tired of the whole day by 2:00. Good times. If I do anything like that now I'm considered an unproductive member of society.

It's been two years since I have graduated but I would still love to go to BSD this year. Plus I am still young enough that I really wouldn't be the creepy old guy (I'm only 24)

However I do enjoy the story of my last BSD and don't think I could top that and wouldn't want to tarnish what I have build up BSD to be in my head.

Is there even space on the lawn? Or a lawn left? Didn't they put up the new library and a bunch of buildings on every last remaining green space around Mac Hall?

Dude back in the 90's there was lots of green space on campus and around Mac Hall. This was a wonderful thing during warm spring, lot of you women sunning themselves.

I've never been to the UofC campus and have no idea what BSD is but I'm glad to read that people will be spending a day mimicking my typical Saturday.

Best part about BSD it how it started and what it's grown into.

My first BSD we ended up at the Back Alley for a Foam Party (read non-optional wet t-shirt contest) which was a great time. It turned out that they got cheap and didn't buy the proper foaming agent and several people woke up in the hospital with burnt retina's from the caustic foam. I seem to recall that there was a lawsuit that followed, but that may have just been part of the legend.

I miss the couch races. My last BSD was the year they got shutdown. They were massive that year, so naturally some idiots had to screw it up by getting hurt and trying to steal an ambulance. Lots of fun and all the TV stations had footage of me riding down on my couch.

One year I had a prof schedule a test at 6 pm on BSD. Most of the class just showed up drunk and some people shouted out answers in the middle of the test.

Will be on campus trying to decipher what the hell my prof is talking about one last time, but never have done the BSD thing. I certainly won't mind the view if it turns into a warm day though.
