That Red Sox lineup is scary if Crawford comes back and returns to his past form. That would be an incredibly scary 1-2 of Ellsbury and him leading off. With or without him though, this Red Sox team has much bigger concerns then they did last season.

Not sure I want to see Rasmus sitting today, seems like his hitting is just starting to come around.

Going to be strange watching a ball game at 9:30am PST.

I'm really interested to see how Valentine uses Crawford in the lineup when he gets back. I agree that there are much bigger concerns from last season. Way more questions about the rotation, its scary to think that this rotation may actually make Sox fans miss Jon Lackey, I doubt it, but it's a possibility.

Could someone make a better game day thread for the next series. I'm unfortunately extremely busy (Seriously, I've actually been PVRing the games at watching them late at night when I actually have time) and don't have the time to make a better looking thread than I did with this one.

Thanks.

Hopefully the jays can win today's game

Jose looks like he's trying to knock them out every time he gets up to the plate. He needs to relax, the HRs will come eventually.

Lester and Romero both perfect through 2 innings. This is going to be a good one

I was thinking the same thing also, He seems to be trying to tear the hide off the ball on every swing. Hopefully he settles it down a bit

Red Sox threatening with two singles to lead off the 3rd. Runs could be tough to come by vs Lester so hopefully Romero can bare down

1-0 Sox, 1st & 2nd with 1 out. Be nice to hold them to just one run.

Could have been a lot worse. Romero always seems to work himself out of these jams, just wish the inning had not started with the 7 and 8 hitters both getting on. 1-0

Thames, JP and Davis due up

Nice work by Romero, would have been nice for the Sox to add a few more there.

Davis with a 1-out RBI triple - Escobar has a chance to get on track by cashing him in.

Baltimore OriLOLes might be just what the doctor ordered for Joey Bats. If there was ever a pitching staff to help break out of a cold streak. Nice inning by the bottom of the Jays order. Thames with a really strong at bat to start it off

Nice inning by Romero. Has to be some concern by Red Sox fans about Youkillis.
