First one good
Second one bad
third one good
fourth one bad
Here's hope this works out for number five
Eh, I disagree with your assessment.
First one: Excellent (possibly my favorite movie of all time).
Second one: Very good, underrated if anything.
Third one: Great, a bit repetitive, but still great.
Well that's it, in my mind The Last Crusade is where the series ends. I stil have not seen the unwarranted one, so I won't even acknowledge it.
It's too bad River Phoenix had to go out and die like he did, as he would of been a worthy successor in my opinion.

Well then we disagree, I can't stand the 2nd one, I think it's garbage. I mean, it's not survive a nuclear bomb in a fridge bad, but it's bad.
Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade are two of my favorite movies though. I survive the 2nd, to get to the third.

I agree with you as well. MMF is acting like the second one was Allan Quatermain and the lost city of gold. Now THAT is bad (comparatively and figuratively speaking)!

Seriously, the 2nd is better than the 3rd? Temple of Doom was weak in every aspect of, characters, action, story. I'm not saying its a bad film, but it's no where near the quality of Raiders or Last Crusade.
I used to think that Temple of Doom wasn't THAT bad. Then I went to a New Years Day Triple Bill. When you see all three in a row, you realize how bad it really is.

Goosebumps, and the good kind. Not the kind where you're at a bus stop and some old creepy lady offers you candy and an invitation to see her birds in her living-room which is next to her bedroom which she proceeds to tell you whilst maintaining eye contact and unwrapping the hard candy close to wet sugar stained mouth.

When the DVD set first came out in 2003 that's when I realized it too.

Also that sounds awesome. Well, minus Temple of Doom.
Maybe next time they could put The Fugitive or Air Force One in the middle.
"Get off my plane!" "I didn't kill my wife!"

Excellent>Great>Very good.
Raiders is 5 stars easy, Last Crusade would probably get 4 and a half, and Temple of Doom a 3 and a half.
Kate Capshaw is wretched no question, but the rest is at least passable (yes even Short-Round). It's a bit darker than the rest, which I like and the setting worked for me as well. Then there are the classic scenes in the raft falling out of the plane, the mine cart sequence (better than the boat sequence in Last Crusade), and even the bridge ending was pretty fun. Sure the plot was sort of weak (missing kids?), but it also was the only Indiana Jones movie with a real villain of note (Mola Ram).
If Spielberg's wife was replaced by Karen Allen it would likely of been great as well.
Jurassic Park4 is supposed to be totally different then the the first 3, Spielberg is pulling his old secretive self with this title but in 3D you would have to think it would be amazing.
