I'm hearing we should get a look at new CFL jerseys starting May. Very excited to see what's going to come out.

Highlights of Dyakowski’s appearance included a remarkable impromptu valedictorian speech that earned him the top score from guest judge Sean Cullen, the highest scoring performance in the show’s mathematical challenge and a dramatic come-from-behind win during the show’s final challenge.

WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have rewarded head coach Paul LaPolice for the club's dramatic turnaround.
The Bombers announced Tuesday they have signed LaPolice to a two-year contract extension through 2014.

Guess you can put away the rumors of a rift between Joe Mack and him.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have traded defensive end Odell Willis to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for draft picks, the CFL club announced Thursday.
The Bombers have acquired Saskatchewan’s eighth overall pick in the 2012 CFL Draft, their fourth round pick (23rd overall) in the same draft and a conditional pick in the 2013 draft. The Roughies also get a conditional fifth-round pick in 2013.

^^^ really? Willis is a sack machine. Bombers fans are bemoaning the fact they lost him. It sounds like Willis wanted out of town and the Bombers made the best deal.

Rider fans (and Riderfans.com) are upset that they need Cdn talent and gave up picks.
Also, Willis sucked towards the end of the season incl the GC, wasn't played by Wpg on rushing downs because he's only a pass rusher (according to riderfans), wants to go back to the US and only has 1 year left on his contract.
I don't see it as a huge deal, Riders have the #1 pick in the draft anyways. Plus, we needed some help with the pass rush.

Stats don't lie and was pretty crappy for the most part.
His stats for last 6 games:
Grey Cup: 1 tackle, 0 sacks
East Final: 2 tackles, 0 sacks
Nov 5 vs Cal: 3 tackles, 0 sacks
Oct 28 vs Tor: 1 tackle, 0 sacks
Oct 15 vs Edm: 1 tackle, 0 sacks
So in his last 6 games, a total of 8 tackles and ZERO sacks.
The 6 games prior to that, (starting with Labour Day), he had 8 tackles and 4 sacks.
He did most of his damage in the first 6 games, not much after that ....

Willis is a one trick pony and when he isn't close to the QB he is useless.
A 1st round pick is a lot to pay for a position that seems to be filled by new import X every season without a ton of difficulty.
The fact that Taman a guy that seems to hate NI talent and just overpaid big time to get two NI lineman because he couldn't get them in his weak drafts made the deal probably worries Rider fans that he will return to his ways in the Peg where he destroyed the NI talent depth.

I was thrilled to get such a great return for the mayor. He's a huge reason the Bombers had a decline in the 2nd half and if he had shown up even a little bit in the 2nd half of the year the Bombers would have had a ring. Vega is a better D lineman anyways.
Taman being Taman. Terrible GM who undervalues Canadian talent with desperate moves like this.

Very exciting stuff. BC Lions announced May 2nd their jersey release, Argos May 1st. No other team has set a firm date. I'm really hoping Calgary goes red and white and ditches black entirely (especially the black helmets). The Bombers have already made it clear they're sticking with Navy (a stupid mistake imo, people are practically begging the Bombers to go Royal Blue).
