Excuse me, are you getting enough calcium?

Arg! It makes me imagine what woud happen if I was sitting by myself, enjoying a nice, quiet lunch lost in my own thoughts, and some random, pushy broad passed judgment on my lunch and inquired into my calcium intake.

Would knocking her off her feet with a solid right hook and then beating her with my ballet-flats demonstate sufficient bone-density to end the conversation?

The Fan960 is promoting some new TV show, that sounds exactly like The New Girl. Quirky girl rents an apartment with wacky room-mates.

Not exactly commercials I can't stand, but the Reebok CrossFit ones don't have effect on me that they're going for. Most Nike or Under Armour commercials pump me up pretty good (especially the "Protect This House" series)...I don't even mind Cammy in his weird feet shoes. But these "Sport of Fitness" ones? I dunno, at best they make me feel weak and inadequate, at worst they kind of make me hate those fitness jerks and their giant medicine balls. Can you really get the same amount of fun from deadlifts as you can from playing an actual sport? Maybe some could but not me.

Dave Mowat from ATB, please stop. "We hire people who think outside the vault" - what does that even mean?

And what's with including your "email" on the advertisements? I'm not sure I want to bank with a company with a CEO who handles customer inquiries all day.

Those blackberry ads where they claim they receive (and apparently send) a ridiculous amount of e-mails per day.

The one where the girl says she sends and receives 1,000 emails a day is total BS. Let's do the math shall we?

Let's say it takes 30 seconds on average for each e-mail, which I think it pretty generous, unless she is confusing text messages with e-mail.

1,000 emails x 30 seconds = 8.3 hours of e-mail per day.

Stop lying to me blackberry.

http://pewinternet.org/Reports/2011/...in-Report.aspx

  • 18-24 year olds send or receive an average of 109.5 text messages per day—that works out to more than 3,200 messages per month. The median 18-24 year old texter sends or receives 50 texts per day (or around 1,500 messages per month).
  • One quarter of 18-24 year old text messaging users (23%) report sending or receiving more than 100 texts per day.
  • Just over one in ten (12%) say that they send or receive more than 200 messages on an average day—that equals 6,000 or more messages per month.

or the BB ads where they say they want a tool and not a toy. really RIM, that's the best you can do? my Android is a far better tool for work than my company supplied Blackberry, AND it can do a bunch of other cool stuff too. you're basically admitting that you're phones are boring and gutless with no app selection, i'm sure that will definitely make more people want to buy them

That new McDonald's ad for the chicken sandwiches where the three cooks are making 'em while beat-boxing (aka spitting all over the food).

Yum.

I have no idea what message they're trying to send in that commercial. So dumb and makes no sense.

The herbicide commercial that seems to think that farming is an X-Games event.

At least the resolution for that commercial is better this time around.

You know, I thought this commercial was hilarious when I saw it at the gym and there was no sound. As soon as I saw it with volume I found it super annoying.

Uptown Girl Beer......wtf!?!?

The idea is terrible, the commercial is horrid, and the ladies all seem skanky. What 5 year old came up with this?

What's up with that auto part ad on the Fan960? - a dominatrix is calling the store, while her "man slave" is struggling in the background. Seems like a strange way to sell auto parts.
