Well we will have to agree to disagree. I love my fisheye lens.
I just need to get a wide angle and a macro and I'll be set..

Now if I remember right.. The caesars palace one isn't actually an HDR I don't think. I'll have to open it again to see...

well, after taking my sweet time, i finally had a chance to go thru some pics from this summer. my wife and i went to seattle - here are some from the aquarium. they are all shot thru glass.... so some aren't nearly as clear as i'd like - but they are still pretty cool..... Nice shots! Aquariums are hard to shoot, low lighting can be a pain in the ass. And all those kids running around.
I'm gonna do a big drop of the National Gallery of Victoria.

Impressive museum shots.I love shooting where flash photography is prohibited, the natural museum lighting is fun to shoot with. Plus all the tourists with P&S cameras fail miserably. lol

so i'm not quite sure what i did to deserve this.... but my wife told me monday that she had a present coming for me. ok - whatever... i'm thinking it's something that she ordered for my birthday that just didn't get here in time... well i was sure wrong.
The EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens could very well be the essential multipurpose lens for every camera bag due to its ability to capture sharp close-up images of small objects as well as beautiful portrait-length telephoto shots. The incorporation of Canon's new Hybrid IS in this L-series macro lens allows it to compensate more effectively for camera shake during close-up shooting and marks a significant improvement for professionals and advanced amateurs utilizing macro photography for portrait, nature or wedding shoots.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

i guess i'll "keep doing what i'm doing" and my camera bag will be overflowing in no time!!

So speaking of flickr... does anyone know how to track how my photos are being viewed?
One of my Peace Bridge pics randomly has over 1000 views since I put up it yesterday, that's just a little over 800 more then my next highest viewed photo, which was up for like 6 months. When I logged on this afternoon and saw 400 I couldn't believe it, now over 1000.

Is not being a cheap jerk and getting a pro account the only way to do so?

Probably you need a Pro account.

Do you not see a link for 'Stats' on your Flickr home page? That's where it would allow you to see where the views are being referred from.

I find flickr to be so cluttered and hard to navigate at times honestly.

You need the pro account to see the stats link.

It is one of the main reasons I went pro (the other being you can only see the 200 latest pictures with the free account).

The stats are pretty cool. You can track stats day-by-day. It'll show you which photos were viewed/favourited and where they were linked from.

I have a photo like you describe as well. I have 37 000 views and 400 photos, but 6000 of them are on one photo alone!
