Bottom feeders not mailing it in.

I just noticed that the bottom 5 teams in the league are on winning streaks, mind you some are only 1 win.

I would like to commend my fellow bottom feeders for keeping competitive despite these trying times.

And if you could all please keep winning it would be great. I would like to have my cake and eat it too .... the number 1 pick and a winning streak to end the season.

Well we don't hold our number one pick, so we're gung ho to at least try and catch the Flyers. Still I ice the best lineup I have on any day to try and win games (exception being when I do use a backup goalie, but sometimes you have to rest the starter). I was hoping I'd find a way to get to 70 points, but right now 65 will be a stretch. Still we'd like to mess around with a few teams playoff hopes just because I'm that much of a miserable prick.

Basically...I HATE losing and have turned down several trades that possibly could have hurt now and helped later just because the game would be a lot less interesting if I lost 3 out of 4 games...You know, like the Stars!

And as Syl said, I don't own my pick either so it feels so good to slip one or two places upward just to make it less "good"!
