Got one at 8 am from Best Buy and haven't put it down since. What an amazing machine. Retina display is just wow.

Still waiting for UPS. Mine has been out for delivery since 8:30AM.

Hope they show today...

They technically deliver till 7PM but are supposedly working overtime today!

Ya I could imagine with the normal traffic, plus this, it will be a long day... I don't care if he shows at 10PM, I just don't want to wait till Monday. So many good reviews so far...

Just got mine, guy said he works a few more hours, then he hits the 12 hour max shift. He is also said he has a way to go...

Wow. That is garbage, but from the sounds of the driver last night, I got in just under the wire, and there were going to be a lot of mad people in Calgary.

Doesn't make it right though, and they should have never promised delivery if they didn't have the man power to do it.

Exactly, especially since someone has to be home to sign for it. So I arrange for someone to be home all day, and nothing. So we do this all over again Monday? I don't think do, you don't give delivery times so you will come on my terms now. What a waste of a day, it's not the fact I don't have, it's that you said its delivered march 16th and I wasted someone's day making them stay home.

Got mine on the bright yesterday! Side by side the new iPad and iPad 2 are fairly similar, but performance is much better and the display is amazing!

I used "Restore from iCloud Backup" and it worked like a charm. Took a while to download all the apps, but well worth the wait.

It's...beautiful.

I called UPS immediately after I got the email telling me they tried to deliver my package yesterday afternoon. I asked if they could hold it at the depot, or preferable the UPS store three blocks from my house. The woman I talked to said, "I'll see what I can do and call you back". When I got to their website to schedule a pickup at their depot, that's the day they say it will be available. And I can't call them until Monday morning to see why.

This happens way too often with UPS. I don't have the option of having it delivered to my work when they need my signature because I'm on the road too. I'm getting sick of it taking two extra days to get my packages. I don't see why you can't ask UPS to hold stuff at their depot BEFORE they attempt to deliver it.

I'm going to guess it's because their contract to deliver is with the shipper, not with you. It's really Apple that should give you the option of requesting the item be held at a depot, otherwise UPS is obligated to carry out the service level indicated by the shipping option Apple chooses.
