How many kWh do you use?
I was just wondering what kind of usage people are finding. My bill is really high so I wanted to see what other households were seeing.
Jan 1 to Jan 24 was 859.304 kWh
Dec 22 to Dec 31 was 369.696 kWh
How do you compare?

About 1.2 megawatts my last bill. Normally I'm in the 0.8 to 1.2 megawatt range, looking at my historical averages.

Varied between 2.0 - 3.3 Megawatts a month since last August. I was worried the cops would raid me for hosting a grow-up. It's just a ton of computers doing combinations of folding and mining. On the bright side, I don't have to turn on the heat in the winter, they are generating that much heat.

932 kWh last month. Typically I'm closer to 1100-1200 in the winter as my garage is heated with electricity. Between vacation and then a mild winter I'm down quite a bit this year.

In other news, Al Gore's monthly consumption was claimed to be in the range of 16-18 MWh in the mid 2000s.

I used 199 kWh between January 20th - February 15th.
My natural gas is the pricey aspect of my Enamx bill.

My last bill was 270 kWh on the button. I seem to range between around 240-360 depending on the season.

Between 750 and 1250 kWh, seemingly at random.

I shudder to think how much of my electricity is spent drying endless loads of children's clothing.

Have you thought of putting up a line in your house in your laundry room or basement?

Just looking at our bill- 480 on the last bill. Over 800 on the last. Strange difference.
Looks like my little graph on the bill shows averages between 450 and about 650. I have a 1000 sq ft up, 1000 down half a duplex.

I don't know how many kids he has, but you would need a really big basement and be constantly hanging stuff to handle the stuff my kids go through. Easily 3/4 of our laundry is little tiny kids clothes. It would be like a part time job just to handle laundry.

We are a family of four (two boys 8 & 6)
I just can't get over how high the bills have been this year. I've tried LED and Flourecent lights but nothing seems to put a dent in the power bill.
